Stop Worrying About Things That Never Actually Happen

As a new leader, aspiring leader, or simply as a human being we are all prone to worry.  Some of us more than others.  And the reality is that the majority of what we worry about never actually happens!

The purpose of this week’s message is a reality check.  Think of this message as that wise old friend you haven’t seen in years who just stopped by for a chat.  They want to help you to stop worrying and regain control of the negativity reel playing inside your head.

I encourage you to check out Don Joseph Goewey’s article here that proves 85% of what we worry about never actually happens.  Think about that.  It’s a lot of wasted time and energy, not to mention stress that affects our health and wellbeing.

I take this approach to heart.  It’s so easy these days to get caught up in the negativity and find worry in virtually everything we do.  Stop the madness!

Get back to what’s important and right in front of you.  Things you can actually control.  Not imaginary monsters that never materialize.

Be worry-free this week!

Ian
