Don’t Believe Your Hype

Today’s post is a two minute reminder – don’t believe your own hype! What does that mean?

It means that every time we have a brilliant idea or thought that inspires us, our self-doubt tends to show up. It’s easy to listen in and believe it. But know this – all that chatter really is, is the brain doing it’s job. It’s meant to protect you, keep you alive when it identifies risk of any kind. Full stop.

Your self-doubt will talk you out of anything you deem worthy of doing. Don’t believe the hype. Shut it down and carry on. You deserve it.

Be great,
Ian
